hestia8It's just a drabble, and it's new instead of a wip, but it's a start to ease me back into fic.

Summary: It’s an accident.

It’s an accident. John can see that straight away.
He’d told Alice not to come sneaking around anymore, because Jenny doesn’t react well when people suddenly appear, but Alice didn’t listen. She thought she could do whatever she wanted, that the rules didn’t apply to her. She probably thought she could get round Jenny with a few clever words and a charming smile.
But instead there’s a knife sticking out of her chest, and she’s staring at it in shock, breath coming in shallow hiccups, and Jenny’s staring at her, wide-eyed and terrified.
All John can think is not again.
