Second timed post! Be impressed, lol.

Tonight I met up with [livejournal.com profile] delgaserasca for Greek food; it was great. I loooooove The Real Greek, and can only recommend that you check the menu out and go. Here, I'll make it easy for you: www.therealgreek.com/

Recently I have been watching a lot of TV to catch up, and I have made it through Cordon, Daredevil and the episodes of Gotham series 2 that are out. I've also been listening to a lot of podcasts, and there will be an entry entirely on those at some point, because I'm always looking for new shows. However, for now I'm just going to talk about TV.

Cordon was a ridicumazing Belgian show about what would happen if a deadly disease was released in Antwerp. The answer (which won't shock anyone who watched Fortitude) is that everyone will become as STUPID AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. However the paranoia levels were good, the characters really grew on me, and the ending was the daftest thing I have seen in forever. I would explain more but I'm not sure I could explain it? I mean, it gave me a bunch of things not to do in the self-indulgent zombie origfic I haven't posted yet.

Onto something better: it took me months to watch all of Daredevil, possibly because I didn't decide to watch it until months after it was out, and therefore I knew all the spoilers. Although it was the spoilers that sort of convinced me to watch it, hahaha. Anyway, the show was great, and I loved the things I knew I was going to love (Matt, Foggy and Karen, basically, although Foggy is my favourite because I am that predictable), and was sort of meh on the arc as I did not care about Fisk and while Wesley was super competent and all, I felt like it just made Fisk look less scary because he just had a dude doing everything for him. Vanessa was a bit more interesting but overall I just didn't really care about them. The fic is great, though, there's some super duper angst out there which is great when I'm in the mood for it (plenty of happier stuff too). I am looking forward to series 2, especially as Elodie Yung is going to be in it (she was in District 13: Ultimatum, which I would watch again RIGHT NOW if I hadn't lent it to someone).

Finally, Gothaaaaaaaaaam, show of my heart, somehow. HOW? WHY? I DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT BATMAN. Anyway, series 2 is completely ludicrous, as was series 1. BARBARA! Oh my GOD, making her evil was a great idea. Jim! Oh Jim. I think Jim may not realise what show he's in, unlike most of the others. HARVEY, still the best. ALFRED, still the best/worst. BRUCE AND SELINA, still amazing. I love them alllllllll. (the plots are ridiculous, so who cares? Something something horrible murders, something something all the cops die yet there are still more, something something seriously, how is anyone in this city still alive?)

Funnily enough, the characters I care least about are Penguin and Edward Nygma (wasn't entirely pleased with the way his storyline went just because it was so predictable) and they seem to be the ones that everyone talks about. I did find Robin Lord Taylor being excited about being on Wendy Williams super cute though:

I watched 9 episodes over the weekend, and basically it was THE BEST. So looking forward to the rest of the series.
And finally: NEW LUTHER SOON AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!
